Door won’t openOften a broken spring. Stop pressing the button for now. 
Door won’t close or reversesWipe the two sensors near the floor and check their lights. 
Loud bang from the garageLikely a snapped spring. Leave the door closed for now. 
Door off track or crookedUnplug the opener and leave the door as it is. 
Opener runs, door won’t moveCheck the red release cord. If it’s hooked, call us. 
Remote or keypad stoppedTry a new battery, then the lock switch on the wall button. 
Noisy or grinding doorUsually worn rollers. Lube the hinges, not the springs. 
Cable snapped or came offKeep hands off the cable and leave the door where it is. - Door too heavy to liftStop lifting, then look up at the springs for a break.
Opener light blinkingMostly the sensors. Wipe both lenses and clear the path.
